Network marketers are spending tons of money on personal development. They’re learning how to handle objections, how to deal with rejection, and how to have a big enough why. Very few of them ever stop to consider that maybe they don’t need all that personal development. Maybe they just need a different network marketing lead generation system.
You hear it all the time in network marketing. Go make a names list and start calling your friends and family. Our uplines tell us that this isn’t selling, it’s just sharing. But when we stop and think about it, we realize that what they are calling sharing is really a very aggressive form of selling. Let’s put this in perspective.
Question: How much personal development do you think the guy behind the McDonald’s counter has to do so he can take your order? That’s right ZERO! Isn’t he in sales? So why is it so much easier for him?

Your #1 business need, is the need for hungry, qualified, interested people to talk to. If you want to be successful in network marketing, you need a lead generation system that gets people coming to YOU asking for more information. When you have that happening in your business then you don’t have to be ten foot tall and bullet proof because you’re not aggressively selling to anyone. You don’t need tons of personal development, because you only work with people who are interested.
