The second most important thing is training and duplication which is teaching new people a proven success formula that is working for the upline leaders. It is really this simple but somewhere along the line, the communication breaks down.
A very important and valuable asset is an online system that trains people automatically so there is no communication breakdown. Also, this is extremely important so that the upline does not have to be hands on every minute with every person. There is not enough time in the day.
Most network marketing companies now offer online training of products but no marketing training. They might give you access to flyers, business cards, and other promotional materials but something is missing. They expect you to go out and pass this stuff around to your friends and family, and build a relationship with them around the products you are selling. Once friends and family turn you down, you have nowhere to go and then failure starts setting into the mind. This is a total burnout which is why most people fail.
A better way to build relationships with people is to use the internet. With social networking websites like Facebook, MySpace and YouTube, you can literally find like minded people in network marketing, make friends, and generate your own leads. More importantly, you can build strong long lasting relationships. Social marketing allows you to stay in touch with people you meet and stay organized by starting groups and joining groups.
Video sites like YouTube allow you to make videos and upload them for free. You can make a video and link it to your lead capture page if they are interested in your offer. More importantly, you find new friends, share videos, promote videos and grow your list of friends and network marketing leads.
Social websites make it so much easier to build relationships. Even big companies are jumping on the bandwagon and creating company profiles to build relationships with their customers. Once thing for sure, there is definitely an art to using these social sites so make sure you learn to do it the right way. There are automation tools you have never imagined that can leverage your work. Network marketing does not have to be hard if you follow a proven system.

Try this on for size: 99% of people in multi level network marketing never achieve a full time income. Why you ask? They are listening to what their network marketing companies tell them. Now think about this, do you really want to duplicate that?
Ask yourself is this what I am supposed to duplicate:Cold calling leads, talking to complete strangers everyday facing rejection, spending countless hours driving and flying to different cities to do meetings, doing presentations on napkins in a McDonalds, making less than $300 a month, and appearing desperate in front of prospects. If you do a gut check deep down you will admit this is not the best way to build a multi level network marketing business.
Even the best network marketing company (which every person claims theirs is) teaches these same dinosaur methods that simply don’t work for the masses. How are you supposed to sponsor more people if you are constantly getting rejected? How are you supposed to fire your boss if you are making a measly $100 a week? How can you build a thriving downline if everybody keeps leaving for the next big thing? How are you supposed to have thousands in your downline when its hard to sponsor 2 people a month? Will you ever be able to leave your job realizing you are making chump change?
The real world will show you millions of network marketers running around like a chicken with no head. They will pitch their business to any and everybody, try to sell you a new juice that will cure anything, and offer you service that you don’t need. Not only that but it is extremely common to run into one that is involved in more than one mulit level network marketing company. Do you really think that person is building a solid business?
These are real problems that those in MLM are facing. This is definitely the business model to follow. It will NOT lead you to financial freedom but financial disaster. That is why its extremely sad to say that most people in multi level network marketing will retire broke. They will be like everybody else on social security barely making it.
The bright side is that all this can be turned around. Learning how to generate your own network marketing leads on a massive scale will cure this disease. I’m not talking about leads that you buy from someone. I’m speaking of leads that have sought you out and like, trust, and want to do business with you. That is only part of the solution however.
