When I first got started in network marketing, I was told to buy generic leads from lead vendors and start cold calling them weekly. This is what my upline told me when it came to my mlm training with my team. After a year or so I became very good at it. In Fact I recruited over 150 people into my team. However what I found was that buying leads and cold calling was not as duplicable as my upline lead it to be. However I also noticed that all the people that I recruited from cold calling lead list were not duplicating as well.
While doing my mlm training one day I decided to take responsibility for my own mlm network marketing training and mlm lead generation. I started researching top income earners and leaders who build there network marketing business on the Internet without buying leads and cold calling them. That’s right. You can build your business using the Internet. I know what you might be saying. I was told it can’t be done by my upline. Yeah, well I was told the same thing. I’m here to tell you these top income earners are doing it and now I’m doing it and I’m here to tell you that you can explode your network marketing business just using the Internet to do it.
When you started your mlm training in your company, did anyone actually teach any types of marketing skills. I bet your saying no they did not. Well, again me to. You see what I learned was to be really successful in your business that you will have to put the (marketing) back into network marketing. When I found this out a light bulb when off in my head. I always new that something was missing and that I needed to find out what it was. So I did more research and found out more about what the top income earners were doing and how all this marketing stuff was done. I read books on Internet marketing, lead generation, using tracking, email follow etc.
In my mlm training the best skill, I learned was the secret of having people call my home wanting to join me in my business. Would you like that to happen to you? Now I was being the hunted. However all this didn’t happen until I learned the skill of doing my own mlm lead generation. When I finally learned all these powerful marketing skills my business started to become really fun. I know use a system that generates targeted leads for me and just to give you a little clue here, they’re not generic business opportunity leads you should be marketing to! I make money even if they don’t join me in my primary business. My leads pay me for my advertising so I can generate traffic and leads endlessly. I have people joining my business weekly and I never called anyone. You can have the same success.
I will tell you that just because your upline tells you to do something, it doesn’t mean it will work for you just because it works for them. This is the most important lesson that I learned. Don’t let fear allow you to take ownership of your business and venture out on your own as a leader and do your own mlm training to find what works for you. By being a leader and doing my own mlm network marketing training I have a team growing worldwide and so can you.

Network marketing, also known as multi-level marketing, is an innovative form of marketing wherein people work together towards a common goal. It incorporates the interconnections of people, helping each other build their business.

This type of program is a combination of franchising, direct selling, products, and marketing skills. It entails the new way of earning income while helping other people at the same time.

In every marketing program, leads are very important. This is where they get their potential income. These leads are considered as the life blood of every network marketer. Without these leads, network marketers will never see the success that other marketers claim.

The point here is that every sales person needs customers, and the only way they will have customers is to have potential customers. This is where the lead generation takes place.

Usually, people think that leads are only for insurance agents, telemarketers, stockbrokers, and real estate agents. Nowadays, every program that entails marketing like network marketing or multi-level marketing needs lead generation.

With leads, a network marketer is able to get in touch with his or her potential client. From there, the network marketer will generate his or her income.

If in online business, the money is in the mailing list; in network marketing, gold is definitely in the leads.

2. Organizer or planner

An organizer or a day planner is also an important tool the every network marketer needs. With organizers, network marketers are able to organize and sort out plans that they need to establish in order to come up with the best marketing strategy.

With organizers or day planners, network marketers are able to review their day-to-day accomplishments, their plans, and their expected rewards or achievements. Hence, these kinds of tools make network marketing a truly easier income-generating activity that entails systematic approach.

Best of all, these organizers, or daily planners are easy to carry. Therefore, if ever you are in a sales call or in a training, you can always bring your files with you.

What’s more, your access to all of your records and to-do list is readily available in a snap.

3. A good program

Not all network marketing programs are created equal. That is why it is extremely important for every network marketer to have a good program, one that will generate real residual income and workable rewards.

In fact, one of the reasons why most people who claims that network marketing does not work is because they have failed, and their failure is caused by a wrong program. That is why it is important to be cautious in choosing the program before you commit yourself to it.

Basically, a good network marketing program should have products and services that you do believe in. Of course, you would not be able to identify this one if you will not try them.

In addition, one of the main reason why you should believe in your program is that you can never convince other people to try it if you yourself do not believe in it.

After all, the product is the core of your marketing activity. Simply put, if you do not have a good product, then, what is the need of engaging in network marketing?

4. Time

Time is really important in network marketing. One of the reasons why most people fail in network marketing is that they simply do not have time.

Like in any business, a network marketer should devote greater time so that he or she will be able to generate positive results.

A network marketer needs time to analyze his or her leads. A network marketer needs time to generate new marketing strategies that will enable him or her to earn more income.

These are all boiled down to the fact that without these four tools, a network marketer will never make it to the top.

Stated another way , without high quality network marketing leads filling your prospecting funnel you have no MLM business.
